Icefall climbing the the valleys of the Alps has the potential of providing fantastic ice climbing experiences without having to endure the full Scottish experience! Out of the valleys ski touring is the only way to get around the Alps in the winter. There is a huge range of options - tours through the ranges, mountaineering and climbing peaks of all grades or finding the best snow and the best descents by heading into the wilderness. It's all there for you to explore.

Icefall Climbing. The ice climbing season runs from mid December through to March with fat, frozen waterfalls, good weather and short walks making icefall climbing a real treat. Learn to climb ice and learn to lead or just relax and enjoy some classic climbs, we can do it all. Italy and Switzerland both have fantastic venues for icefall climbing.

Introduction to Ski Touring. Bored with the piste? Want some adventures in the back-country? Do you want to ski the best, untouched snow you can find? This course will teach you how by showing you the tricks and techniques of ski touring and how ski on variable snow conditions, giving access to miles of untouched snow.

Haute Route Ski Tour. From Chamonix to Zermatt, this is the most famous ski tour in the Alps and the big tick for many ski mountaineers. A fantastic and historic journey through the most spectacular mountains of the Alps ending with one of the best descents in the world, right under the Matterhorn.

Gran Paradiso Ski Tour. Touring around then climbing Gran Paradiso lives up to its name, paradise! The only 4000m peak within Italy is set in a magical and unspoilt reserve with brilliant skiing, scenery and wildlife where you'll find few other skiers. This is a moderate tour reaching two summits on the way with some scrambling.

Andermatt Ski Tour. With more freeride skiing than any other resort in Switzerland, Andermatt makes a fantastic destination for off piste skiing and ski touring. From a very comfortable base we have the flexibility of single day and short tours as well as a full six day tour, all within an short train ride from Zurich.

Private Guiding. For absolute flexibility on where to go and what to do, to get the best snow and best descents on the dates of your choice, private guiding is the way to go.
