Book Now

Just before you fill in the booking form below please read this.

We are happy to take your booking but Covid-19 travel restrictions might have an impact. We will continue to make full refunds for any bookings in the future that can not take place due to Covid-19 travel restrictions. We will always follow government guidelines and advice from Mountaineering Scotland.

Guiding will be done differently to before the outbreak, to protect you and our staff. We have a risk assessment in place and operating procedures that include keeping 2m distant from our guests and other simple measures. Please read through our Covid-19 Information before you book.

At the time of your activity, you must stay at home if you have Covid-19 symptoms or if you have to self-isolate. Unfortunately, we are not able to make a refund if this happens. It is also possible that our staff develop symptoms or need to self-isolate, in which case we will try to provide different staff for the day, reschedule to a future date or make a full refund.

All adventure activities carry an element of risk and by choosing to do an activity you (or your parent/carer) accept this risk. You may get wet and cold, you may slip, trip and stumble or you may fall off your mountain bike. Minor cuts and bruises are not uncommon, sprains and twists occur occasionally and there is the chance of more serious injury. You will also be out in the changeable Scottish weather.

Participants should have an appropriate level of fitness and be suitably experienced. Please ensure that any medical condition that your guide should be aware of is stated in the booking form. If in doubt, please check with your doctor. You will be encouraged to participate fully in the course but the degree of challenge is yours to choose. You will be expected however, to comply stringently with our safety guidelines and procedures.

All courses are run by competent and qualified staff to standards approved by national governing bodies and the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority. Courses are designed to provide challenging and enjoyable learning with a level of risk appropriate to you.

All our guides are covered by Public Liability Insurance and Professional Indemnity Insurance. This does not include personal accident or belongings insurance. Participants should arrange their own cancellation insurance.
We will provide a qualified, experienced and suitable guide or instructor. The guide/instructor is responsible for the delivery of the activity.

Under 18 year olds must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian when participating in any activity that we offer.

Read our Privacy Policy here to understand what we do with your personal information.

Have you already filled in this form and paid a deposit? If you just need to pay the remaining balance of your booking you can do so here.
Thank you!

Wait! Offset your trip by planting trees.

We all love getting out and exploring the mountains but have you thought about how much carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere each time you travel? The average car releases 404 grams of carbon dioxide per mile, so you can do the maths there.
However, a tree can absorb around 21 Kg of carbon dioxide per year when mature. Why not help to offset your trip's carbon footprint by planting trees in Mountaineering Scotland's Grove with Trees for Life.
