Curved Ridge
Buachaille Etive Mor, or "The Buachaille", is the most distinctive and recognisable mountain in the country, standing proudly at the head of Glen Coe and Glen Etive. On a guided ascent of Curved Ridge you can scramble your way to the summit of this majestic mountain under the care of one of our experienced guides.
Your day will start at Altnafeadh, from where your guide will lead the way to the foot of the grade Moderate Curved Ridge. The really fun part of the day then begins as we scramble upwards for 240m with spectacular views out across Rannoch Moor. The route finishes only a short distance from the summit, and from there we make the steep descent down Coire na Tulaich, or tag on the second Munro of Stob na Broige if time allows. Scrambling experience is not necessary for a guided ascent of Curved Ridge; just a good head for heights and a sense of adventure! Curved Ridge is available with a private guide on any day of the week so get in touch to check our availability and make a booking. |
