Ropework for Skiers

Ropework for Skiers

You have spotted your line, safely made it to the top, but now you're faced with a very steep initial section. Steeper than you are happy to ski. Or you are unsure about the snow pack and would like to check it out before committing to your descent. What do you do?

Avoid the disappointment of a wasted hike up and learn how you can safely descend the first section of your line on our Ropework for Skiers course. We will look at different snow anchors you can use, when and where to use them, and how to descend the rope. If you are experienced on skis but not sure about ropes then this is the course for you.
This coming winter we are running Ropework for Skiers courses on set dates where you can join other like-minded people to learn the skills to start tackling steeper lines on your own.

We can run private skiing courses on any day of the week and these can be tailored to match your aspirations and previous experience. Get in touch to check our availability and make a booking.
