With our guided winter climbing and instruction you can benefit from the experience of our instructors and make the most of every day you get out climbing.
Learn the basic skills for single axe routes on an Intro to Winter Climbing course or if you already have a bit of mileage under your belt then a Winter Climbing Progression course will get you on routes at grade III and above, requiring a pair of axes.
Enjoy the best mountaineering and climbing with a guide on Classic Winter Mountaineering and Classic Winter Climbing, or private Guided Climbing, giving you the chance to just give winter climbing a go or to get on those routes you're not ready to lead yet.

An Intro to Winter Climbing course will give you all the skills needed to operate in winter, including basic ropework for snow gullies and winter scrambles at grade I and II.

Progress from one axe to two, and learn all the relevant skills for the steeper routes. A Winter Climbing Progression course will to take you from mountaineering terrain to grade III routes and above.

Five days of Classic Winter Mountaineering, the best big mountain routes tackled with one ice axe. These are mostly grade II ridges such as Forcan Ridge, Aonach Eagach, Ledge Route and Sron na Lairig.

Five days of Classic Winter Climbing, the best winter climbing possible in the weather and conditions at the time. Have a go at those grade III and IV winter climbs that you always wanted to do like Tower Ridge, Green Gully, Crowberry Gully.

Scottish winter climbing is pure adventure! Classic gullies, snowed-up rock climbs, water ice and thin face climbs all nearby on Ben Nevis and the mountains of Glen Coe.
