Introduction to
Mountain Biking

INTRODUCTION TO MOUNTAIN BIKING

Mountain biking is very easy to start out and can be enjoyed by the whole family. It's a great way to explore an area and there are plenty of easily accessible trails in the area if you're new to mountain biking.

Learn core skills such as how to use your brakes and gears effectively, choosing the best line to take on the trails and shifting your weight to control your bike. Coaching is best done in a friendly environment and once you're ready we can move on to more technical skills, including manuals and wheelies, cornering, bumps, pumping the trail and drop-offs

We can also teach you basic bike maintenance and repairs. It's good to know what to do when you get a puncture 10km from the road!
